Initially interested in racing at a young age in the 1960’s, primarily going to circle-track events at Capitol Speedway with his cousin.  In the 1980’s, he became associated with the Madison Sports Car Club and hasn’t looked back since.  Over the past 20 years, Woody has found himself competing in both Autocross and Wheel-to-Wheel events giving him experience in multiple events.  He has raced at race tracks such as Blackhawk Farms Raceway and the world famous, Road America.
